The Drama Alive Festival provides a unique opportunity for performers to showcase their acting skills at a Regional Festival. It is a wonderful way to experience performing in front of a live audience of peers, parents and teachers from across York Region.
Drama Alive adjudicators, who are professional actors and directors, will offer feedback in a uniquely positive and educational format, directly following each performance. Every participant will also receive a written adjudication with a personal score and a Participation Certificate. The Drama Alive Festival is an exciting, non-competitive and educational festival! Sessions will be scheduled at a variety of venues across York Region.
Drama Alive is open to any student in grades 6 – 12 from any public, separate, or private school or any community theatre group within York Region. More information about this year’s Drama Alive Festival will be posted on this website in the near future
